NEVER WOULD HAVE MADE IT
Never would have made it, never could have made it, without you
I would have lost it all, but now I see how you were there for me
And I can say
Never would have made it,
Never could have made it,
Without you
I would have lost it all,
But I now how I see how you were there for me and I can say
I'm stronger, I'm wiser, I'm better,
much better,
When I look back over all you brought me through.
I can see that you were the one that I held on to
And I never
Chorus Never would have made it
Never could have made it without you
Oh I would have lost it all, oh but now I see how you were there for me
I would have lost my mind a long time ago, if it had not been for you.
I made it through my storm and my test because you were there to carry me through my mess
I am stronger, I am wiser, I am better
I would have lost my mind, I would have gave up, but you were right there, you were right there

Many people attribute their success or achievements in life to their talent, skill or effort. On the other hand, there are others that attribute their success to God. There are many people that do not believe or acknowledge the existence of God and therefore will not give God credit for the blessings in their life. There are, however, others that know in their heart that God is real and that he is a very present help in the time of trouble (Psa. 46:1). Those that realize this truth are to acknowledge this in word and deed. In other words, we are to make known that, not only, does God exist, but, that he is also responsible for all of the good that exist in our life. This is affirming what the bible tells us in (James 1:17), which is that “every good and perfect gift comes from heaven above from the Father of lights.” Thank goodness that many of us, not only believe this, but, also have the boldness to proclaim it. “I never would have made it without you”, is the proclamation of everyone who understands, identifies and appreciates the presence and power of God in their life. It is simply a great way of declaring as the Apostle Paul did, “I am what I am by the grace of God” (1Cor. 15:10).

Heavenly Father we thank you for being so good to us. There are many who do not acknowledge your existence and others that do, but, do not have an interest in a relationship with you. Still there are others that simply will not publicly acknowledge your activity in their life. Fortunately, we know that without you we can not do anything and that without your grace and mercy we would not be able to possess and experience the numerous blessings that we have always enjoyed from you. Therefore, give us the confidence to boldly make it known wherever we are that, “we never would have made it without you.” This we ask that you will be honored for your goodness to us and that the blessings of abundant living may continue to flow into our lives, in Jesus name. Amen.
