"IT WILL WORK OUT"

Monday, July 19, 2010

Today’s Scripture

“And we know that all things shall work together for the good” (Rom. 8:28)

Today's Word

Have you ever felt like some of the things that you have been working on, would not turn out the way you expected? Have you at anytime felt a sense of frustration, because things were not working out the way that they were supposed to, through no fault of your own? Have you ever been in a tough situation, and yet felt, somewhat powerless to make it work out for your good?

The bible tells us about three men who were called Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were placed in a fiery situation that was designed to work against them. Yet, in spite of this, the bible tells us that things ultimately worked out for their good because God stepped into that fiery situation with them, and in the end, worked it out for their good.

Since God is the same yesterday, today and forever, this means, what He was willing to do for those men, He is also willing to do for you. Therefore let me encourage you today to know that no matter how fiery, tough, or out of control your situation may be, as long as you put God in it, those things will also work together for your good!

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father we thank you for your goodness today. We know that there are times when we must face fiery situations, because we dwell in a fallen world. Our prayer is that no matter how easy or challenging these situations may appear to be, that you step in, and ultimately work things out for our good, as you always have, in Jesus name. Amen.
