Have you ever said, “I wished that I could do that?” Have you ever said, “That is too hard for me?”
In the bible there was a man named Gideon who had difficulty believing that he could be chosen and used by God to lead the Israelites into battle and defeat those who oppressed them. After realizing that he could, he went on to defeat their great army, in miraculous fashion, through God.
The bible tells us that through God, we can do all things. What is interesting, is that we often judge what we can do based on what others say, but I believe it is time for us to determine what we can do, based on what God says! When we do this, then like Gideon, we will not only know, but actually prove through great works that absolutely nothing, through Christ, is too hard for us.

Heavenly Father we thank you for the opportunity to do great things. Sometimes we may feel that we are not capable of doing these things effectively, if at all. Therefore, we pray that you continue to help us to realize, that through you, we can do all things that will enable us to live the abundant life you have offered us, in Jesus name. Amen. |
