THE STORM IS OVER
The storm is over; I feel like I can make it, (the storm is over now)
It’s over now, it’s over now;
I feel like I can make it
No more cloudy days, their all gone away; (the storm is over now)
If I walk alone, I’m not on my own
No more cloudy days; (the storm is over now)
No more crying at night
No more sickness in my body
No more tears and sorrow; (the storm is over now)
No more heartache and pain
No more suffering
Over now; Over now

A storm is defined as a violent wind; a tempest, but also affliction, calamity, distress, adversity. In life there are storms such as physical illness, depression, broken relationships, great disappointment and financial hardship. Often times, storms of this nature are caused by disobedience, mistakes, a lack of faith and various types of spiritual and non-spiritual attacks. There are storms that we inadvertently create, as well as, storms that are caused by other sources beyond our control.
In spite of this, I believe that we can, (not only), experience relief, but also, great victories; when we like Jesus, in this passage, declare peace and stillness to the storms that we face in life. This type of declaration will release divine or supernatural power, if done with faith; and put and end to many of the storms that we encounter in life.
Therefore, I encourage you today, (all day), to declare to sickness, depression, bad relationships, negativity or anything which afflicts you in mind or body; “THE STORM IS OVER- THE STORM IS OVER; IN JESUS NAME THE STORM IS OVER.” Do this with faith and authority, and according to God’s word, it shall be well with you.

Heavenly Father we thank you for your great love and compassion. We thank you also for revealing to us that we are going to encounter many storms in life for various reasons including our faith in, and, devotion to you. We also give you thanks for the example you demonstrated through Christ of how we too, can overcome these storms. Please therefore, strengthen our spirits and bless us to speak to any mountain and any storm that rises up in our life; that we may calm it or eliminate it altogether. This we pray that we may exalt your presence in our life and experience the abundant life that you have graciously offered us, in Jesus name. Amen.
