"IT’S A PROCESS!" |

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God” (Romans 8:28, KJV)

Johnny gave his son Bobby some medicine in the form of a pill and said, “Take this with a cup of water.” Bobby responded by saying, “Dad, I’m tired of taking this medicine. I feel better anyway.” Johnny responded by saying, “Your doctor said that you need to take this medicine for ten days, until it is gone.” “You may feel better now, however, if you stop taking this medicine, there is a good chance that the pain that you had will return; because the things that caused you to feel sick are not yet completely gone from your body.”
When taking medicine there are times that relief is not experienced right away, yet, this does not mean that the medicine is not working for our good. It works to benefit us; it simply involves a process. This is also the case with the word of God. The bible tells us that everything will work together for our good. Therefore, when we receive and apply God’s word, we may not see great success immediately, but that does not mean that it is not working. God’s word will do what it says it will do; it will not return void; it will achieve its objective. It is like medicine that actually begins to work right away; you simply may not experience certain results until a little more time has passed.
Since the bible tells us that everything will work together for our good, let me encourage you to exercise patience until it comes to pass; because many of your blessings will materialize through a process; and process involves time.

Heavenly Father we give you thanks for your great love. We also thank you for working things together for our good. We ask that you bless us continually with wisdom about the process involved, as well as, your great patience until these things to come to pass in our life; that we may experience life more abundantly in Jesus name. Amen.
