"God in You!"

Today’s Scripture

“But Christ liveth in me” (Gal. 2:20, KJV)
Today's Word

IT’S THE GOD IN ME!

I just want to tell the truth man
You’re so fly; you’re so high
Everybody running, trying to figure out why
You’re so cool, you win all the time
Everywhere you go, you get a lot of shine.

You’re like a magnet, better yet, have it.
From the sweat suit
To the white tee; to the Gucci
You can probably say; people wanna get it like me.

But what they don’t know is,
When you go home and get behind closed doors
Man you hit the floor.
And what they can’t see, is you’re on your knees.
So the next time you get, just tell them,

IT’S THE GOD IN ME!

Look at her style, you think she’s nice
Look at her whip; you say the whips tight
Look at her crib; thinking she’s paid.
You look at her life; you think she’s got it made

But everything she’s got, the girl’s been given
She calls it a blessing, but you call it a living.
When it comes to money, she can be a hero
She writes them checks with a whole lot of zeros.

But what you don’t know, is when she goes home,
And gets behind closed doors,
Is man, she hits the floor.
And what they can’t see, is she’s on her knees
And if you ask her, she’ll tell you

IT’S THE GOD IN ME!

MARY-MARY

It is important to realize that you are who you are, and that, you can do what you do, because of God in you.  God tells us in his word that we are to do what we can, according to the abilities that he has given us.  We are also to give him the credit that he deserves for enabling us to do these things, regardless of the level of success that we have achieved.  When we do this consistently, he will begin to promote us, because he promotes them that delight in promoting him.

Therefore let me to encourage you to boldly declare to yourself and others, wherever you are, as Mary-Mary basically declares in their song, “I’m blessed and do what I do, simply, because of the God in me.”

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father we thank you for every good ad great gift you have given us. Let us boldly give you the credit and praise for our abilities, as well as, any achievement or success that we experience in life; that you may be honored and that we may experience life more abundantly, in Jesus name. Amen.
