In 2007 I was on my way to work and I received a call from my mom stating that the dr. ran some test and the function of her transplanted heart had dropped 25%. She was stressed out, worried emotional and crying over the phone and I began to cry as well. I tried to pull myself together and walk into work but one of my co-workers asked me “what’s the matter” and I explained to her the situation about my mom and she said “You need to call my pastor and talk to him.” So she called Sr. Pastor Darrin Phelps of DAP Ministries and began to explain, then I spoke with him and all he said to me was come to my church on Sunday and he asked for her name so he could put it in the prayer box. I went to his church that Sunday and I didn’t announce who I was or anything. I went up to the altar for prayer and he prophesied that I was standing in the gap for someone, then he laid hands on me and the Holy Spirit took over. When I had released all of my cries and was leaving that altar I felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off of my shoulders. Later on that week, 3 days later to be exact, my mom received a call from the dr. office and was informed that they had ran more test  and that the  machine must have been broken that day because her heart was functioning fine,  and for her to go out and have a good lunch! God is awesome!!! The question is whose report will you believe? His promise is “Ye are healed.” So will you break down and give up on life because the dr. tells you that something is terribly wrong, or will you have a greater faith, pray without ceasing and believe God’s word? His words don’t return to him void because we serve a God that CANNOT lie? Think about it, has he ever lied to you before? No! HE CAN’T! Not only was my mom healed through the laying hands and intercession of that situation but I was saved as well. I gave my life over to Christ and I had been praying for a church home all the while, so after that miraculous situation occurred my children and I consistently attended St. James Church HOME OF DAP Ministries and we were baptized there in Jesus name. God did his great works in that situation. He knew when and what it would take to make it all happen at just the right time. He saved me and healed my mom all at the same time. I was thinking of my mom and going for prayer for her and ended up making a life changing decision for myself. I’m working on 3 wonderful and trying years BUT I wouldn’t trade it for nothing in the world! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!
