Hello my name is lakeisha murray, and God has truly blessed me. About two years ago my mom and I didn't have a great relationship. I felted as though she took her pain out on me and I didn't understand why. We have became distance from each other while living under the same roof. On New Year's Eve day she told to get out her house, so I lefted and stayed two weeks at my best friend house. I felt that my mom wanted a man more than her daughter. I I didn't realize that God had a plan for me. My friend mom said I should go and stay at a shelter, so my frind and I checked in at the salvation army. The next morning they placed me in a shelter, with women and men. I was 20 years old at the time and I would have never thought I will be living in a shelter. I didn't know what to do and what was going on, I was stressed out and depressed, but one night I was in the bed and I heard a soft voice that said "everything is going to be ok" I jumped up and looked around I didn't see anybody but my roomate and she was sleep. I knew it was god, I heard his voice for the first time, peace overcame me and I knew he was with me. My roomate told me to come to church and I went. I continue to go to church and I give my life over to Christ. When I started to build a relationship with God, he was fixing the broken relationship that I had with my mother. God is good just hold on because he has giving me the best relationship with a mother that a daughter can have, we love each other so much and we are now best friends. The devil can't touch what God has put together. On that day if she would have never put me out, I would't be here. I am now living on my own in downtown philadelphia in center city. Iam living in the best part of philadelphia, I would have never thought this. I have been here for two years now and I like it. It's a transitional housing for women and I have a room and I bathroom but I share the kitchen, it felt good to get my first set of keys. I will not be here for long because god told me that I am moving, so I packed and stand on faith that He has something for me. I go to my mom house on the weekend and stay the night and on Sunday we get up to go to church, god is just that good. God know what you are going through and He see your tears, just hold on because help is on the way, because He has helped me and He will help you. God Bless and Peace and Love Everyone
